How to obtain an MSCA postdoctoral grant? SEA-EU Alliance informational meeting

SEA-EU invites you to an info session where you will learn how to apply for MSCA-PF and what to look out for in particular. MSCA expert Angie Mifsud from the University of Malta will give an overview of the programme. Additionally, experts from all nine SEA-EU partners will present their own universities and research profiles.

The meeting will take place online on February 24 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The event is aimed at both young scientists interested in the scholarship and potential mentors for such a program. Registration is done via a special form.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships award grants Postdoctoral Fellowships and covers a salary of two years, an allowance for mobility, costs of research, and overheads for the host institution, if awarded. The University of Gdansk can be the host institution to researchers who apply for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme.

MSCA-PF eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate may be of any nationality
  • The candidate must be, at the date of the call deadline, in possession of a doctoral degree
  • At the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that the researcher was in a possession of a doctoral degree and certified by appropriate documents.
  • The candidate cannot have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (Poland) for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the call deadline
  • Only one proposal per candidate may be submitted to PF call

 

The next call for applications opens on 9 April 2026.
