On June 21-22, 2021, the conference of the International Historical Commission for Research on the Teutonic Order (Internationale Historische Kommission zur Erforschung des Deutschen Ordens) was held at the Faculty of History. The conference title was

The Teutonic Order as an investor. Construction and expansion of infrastructure (Der Deutsche Orden als Bauherr. Auf- und Ausbau der Infrastrukturen)

The meeting was held in the hybrid formula. In Gdańsk, researchers from Poland (Gdańsk, Toruń) and the Netherlands (Utrecht) gave their lectures, and via Teams from Germany (Munich, Berlin, Jena), Hungary (Debrecen), Italy (Lecce) and Portugal (Lisbon).
