The Faculty of History at the University of Gdansk (Poland), in collaboration with the Department of Computer Systems and Technologies at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (Ukraine) invite to the international academic conference "Games of War" on Ukrainian video games responding to the 2014/2022 Russian invasion, which is scheduled for the 24th of February 2024, at The Faculty of History.

On June 21-22, 2021, the conference of the International Historical Commission for Research on the Teutonic Order (Internationale Historische Kommission zur Erforschung des Deutschen Ordens) was held at the Faculty of History. The conference title was

VIRTUAL STUDY ABROAD

During the three weeks in May students of the University of Gdańsk had a unique opportunity to take part in a virtual student exchange interacting with their peers from the Valdosta State University (Georgia, USA).

On September 17 and 18^th 2021 the Faculty of History will be the host of the Tenth Conference of the Committee on Migration Research (KBnM) of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). The conference theme is BORDERLAND. CHANGE AND CONTINUITY IN THE FACE OF OTHERNESS. The organizers of the event are: KBnM PAN, UG’s Faculty of History, Emigration Museum in Gdynia, International Border Studies Center at UG.
